Playing the Field by Don'ta Watkins Jr

The Bears finally have themselves a franchise quarterback. After breaking Michael Vick’s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback a week ago with 178 yards, Justin Fields put up another 140 rushing yards along with 2 rushing touchdowns and 2 passing. In only his second season, Justin Fields was being questioned for his pocket awareness and overall talent at the quarterback position. As play calling was changed to highlight his strengths, Fields showcased his athletic gifts. This Bears offense is night and day in comparison to last season, and even earlier this year. While the Bears are 3-7 and still last in their division, they have plenty to look ahead to as their young dual threat quarterback Justin Fields continues to impress. As the Green Bay Packers continue to decline, Chicago should be positioned to compete for this division as soon as next season.. Bear Down!
