Keep Hope Alive...2022$#!+..

"No apologies on the issue, if it offends you it's meant to, it's that simple" Y'ALL MY NI**AS NAS

In recent conversations with some of my Black Family, i was surprised to discover that "FALSE HOPE" yet existed in the minds of some of us. So i decided to write something to encourage those of us who still hold beliefs that are unrealistic and contribute nothing to our struggle for respect, to examine or re-examine what they believe and why they believe it. "FALSE HOPE" by definition: (FREE DICTIONARY) to hope with little reason or justification. (CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH DICTIONARY) confident feelings about something that might not be true. (SIMPLICABLE GUIDE) a false hope is an expectation that is extremely unlikely to be satisfied. One writer has written: " There is an intimate relationship between false hope and ignorance." There are still those of us who believe that "love" is the answer and pose the question: "Can't we all just love one another?" Two things are obvious; those people know little or nothing at all about history or human nature because they both answer that question with the only possible answer there is...no we cannot! To consider such as a possibility reeks of child-like ignorance and indicates no interest in engaging in our struggle on any level. It is one of the worst expressions of "FALSE HOPE". History will tell you that there has always been racial hatred and the ugliness that comes with it, somewhere on this planet...as there is now. History will tell you that the atrocity of genocide has always been taking place somewhere on this planet...as there is now. History will tell you that there has always been war taking place somewhere on this planet...as there is now. History will tell you that corruption (the sister of greed) and the pain and suffering it has caused everywhere on this planet has been a constant on this planet...as it is now. To believe that our oppressor has a conscience that can be appealed to by pointing out how horrifically we've been treated and continue to be treated is folly. Racism and hatred cannot be reasoned with. It is highly protective of itself. We cannot march, ask, complain or love our way to respect (which must come before all else). Until we dis-continue all relationships with "FALSE HOPE", we are doing no more than throwing marshmellows against a brick wall. Be well all!
